Assessment & Beyond

A Collaborative Process

FASD assessment at MobMind is a relational journey. We work alongside families and clinical teams to translate complex neurodevelopmental data into meaningful, culturally grounded insights that help define a clear way forward.

Diagnostic Insight

Recognition of FASD is a powerful tool for clarity. It allows for the mapping of cognitive strengths and vulnerabilities, providing a platform for informed advocacy and appropriate funding access through Medicare or NDIS pathways.

Focusing on the Path Forward

Beyond diagnosis, our focus shifts to wellbeing. We offer FASD-informed therapeutic interventions that support individual self-identity, environment adjustments, and the sustained health of the child and their care network.

Practical & Relational Support

Strengths-based, trauma-responsive care shaped around your story.

MobMind Collective provides FASD-informed therapeutic support that moves beyond clinical diagnosis. We focus on identity, strengths, and goals, co-designing relational strategies that support regulation and connection for children, young people, and their families.

Our approach integrates cultural safety with professional clinical expertise, ensuring that every session is a space of trust and dignity. We work across assessment, planning, and practical daily support to build a path forward that feels shared and sustainable.

"Grounded in relationship and the unique strengths of every individual, our approach to FASD therapy extends beyond diagnosis to foster lasting wellbeing, healing and identity."

FASD support at MobMind Collective is specifically designed for children, young people, and adults living with Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder, as well as their carers and families. We recognize that navigating complex systems and understanding a formal diagnosis can be overwhelming. Our role is to provide a calm, relational, and culturally safe space where individuals and families can explore what comes next, moving away from deficit-based models toward a strengths-based understanding of capability and purpose.

The work is trauma-responsive and deeply rooted in First Nations-led practice, ensuring that culture remains a central source of healing. Our therapy includes practical strategies for daily living, advocacy for educational settings, and relational support that strengthens family connections. Whether you are at the beginning of an assessment pathway or seeking ongoing support, we work collaboratively to create environments where people with FASD are truly seen, heard, and allowed to thrive.

Culturally Grounded. Relational. Strengths-Based FASD Support.

Whether you are navigating a new diagnosis or looking for practical therapeutic support for your family, MobMind Collective offers a safe and informed space to begin. Our approach is trauma-responsive and deeply guided by First Nations wisdom and clinical expertise.
